If you love music, specially latin music, you can’t miss the David Bisbal concert at the Palau Sant Jordi in Barcelona this February! David Bisbal is one of the best latin artists of the moment and has started this 2013 with absolute success at the Royal Albert Hall.
David Bisbal is the most international artist to come out of Spain in the last decade and is, currently, one of the most world-famous Spanish performers and a genuine Latin pop sensation. Since he embarked on his solo career in 2002, he has sold well over 5 million albums and has certified over 60 Platinum and Gold albums. He has taken 5 international tours on the road and performed 600 concerts around the world.
David Bisbal (Almería, June 5, 1979) cut his teeth in the music business at the age of 17, performing as a vocalist with Orquesta Expresiones to moderate success in Andalusia. After taking second place on the first edition of reality show Operación Triunfo in 2001, he made his debut as a solo artist shortly after with “Corazón Latino,” released on June 3, 2002.
David Bisbal took his success beyond Spanish borders, as he received ten Gold Records and two Platinum Records in the US and Latin America. In 2003, Bisbal won the Best New International Artist award in Mexico, the TV y Novelas award and the OYE award for the Best Male Solo Artist, and was voted the most promising musical release of the year by Ritmoson Latino. In September of that same year, David Bisbal experienced one of the highlights of his career in Miami, where he picked up the Latin GRAMMY® for Best New Artist and was nominated for Best Male Pop Vocal Album.
