Enjoy festivals in Barcelona with Be Hostels! Summer is full of them! Don’t miss any, especially cultural ones to know about spanish culture more. The next one, that we would love to tell you about is festival of Paral-lel.
On June 18th, Barcelona celebrates the second edition of a day which claims the Paral.lel Avenue as a leisure and cultural area of the city.
After the success of its first edition, the artistic artery for excellence of the city repeats this year the day ‘Fem festa, fem Paral.lel’. On June 18th, from 11am to 2am, all the inhabitants of Barcelona are called out to the streets to claim the Paral.lel and the cultural and playful offer that it offers to the city.
El Mag Lari, Joan Pera, Lloll Bertran, la Terremoto de Alcorcón… All of them will not miss it. And you? You have a wide program to enjoy outdoors the best music and dancing to the rhythm that will offer you the most popular DJ. There will be also the performances of different groups of dance (salsa, tango, flamenco, etc.) and theatre performances, music, milonga, humour and magic.
As new, this year will be celebrated an open day in the Condal theatres, el Molino, Victoria, Arteria Paralelo and Sala Apolo, which there will offer morning special programming from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m.
‘Fem festa, fem Paral.lel’ ‘is also a family day where children can participate in sports activities and workshops specially designed for them: crafts, shop boomerang, magic, dance, masks, juggling and storytelling, among others.
With this day the El Molino Foundation (FEM) and the Town hall of Barcelona want to claim the protagonism of the Paral.lel Avenue as a centre of theatre and leisure in the Barcelona of the 21st century.
